The new SoundLink® Revolve eSoundLink® Revolve+ Bluetooth speakers from Bose have arrived in stores.
Completely redesigned to ensure omnidirectional, enveloping sound, Revolve speakers deliver deep, stunning sound all around - starting with a seamless aluminum enclosure.
"When the first speaker in the SoundLink® family was launched, it immediately took the market by storm," explains Glenn Gomes-Casseres, wireless speaker product director at Bose. "We didn't want to stop at just improving its audio capabilities. Our intent was to be able to bring about a transformation that would leave a mark, to the point where you could play just one song to hear the best sound ever generated by a speaker of that size."
Bose engineers went back over the design phase from the ground up in order to redefine the relationship between size, sound and battery power. An entirely new acoustic package was also developed and later combined with a one-piece, cylindrical-shaped aluminum case.
SoundLink® Revolve speakers do not have a front and a back and should not be aimed in favor of a specific direction.
This product line includes within it a combination of opposing passive radiators, powerful and ultra-efficient opposing transducers, and a new patented acoustic baffle.
Thanks to the integration of a "pressure trap" to eliminate distortion, the result is stunning.The sound spreads evenly in all directions, with rich, deep bass and no weak points or frequency breaks typical of more conventional 360º speakers. Whatever its placement, whether it is in the middle of the room or near a wall, the SoundLink® Revolve speaker can provide the same listening experience for any user. Music is diffuse, crisp, and if desired, extraordinarily powerful.
Both Revolve models are suitable for both home and outdoor environments. The devices are IPX4-certified to ensure their resistance to poolside splashing, splashing or from rain, while the aluminum case makes them resistant to bumps, drops and rough movements. The specially allocated threaded universal mount on the bottom of each model makes it easy to mount them on a tripod, useful for convenient listening in the backyard or during an outdoor party, for example.

The SoundLink® Revolve+ is slightly larger for greater performance, with a size of 18.4 x 10.5 cm, a weight of 0.9 kg, and a battery that offers up to 16 hours of playback time. Both models allow NFC pairing and intuitive set-up through voice commands in several languages. The built-in speakerphone allows you to take calls and access Siri and Google Now™ directly from the speaker.
The Bose Connect App also allows for the simultaneous synchronization of two SoundLink speakers, even of different models, starting with the new SoundLink Color II, allowing for stereo listening through right-to-left pairing or the new party mode, which allows the same song to be played on two speakers at the same time.
