New in Instagram: comes Instagram Creator Accounts for influencers

he new Instagram Creator Accounts system, is aimed especially at influencers and public figures with a high number of followers. This new feature gives them the tools to better use the platform for their needs. Important is the ability to easily tap into your data and better connect with your audience.

Indeed, it seems that this small group of testers, currently has access to specific features to help them track the growth of their accounts. For example, there is talk of the possibility of analyzing follows and unfollows (something widely used among bot lovers). The insights will give them a clearer picture of the performance of their content.

Instagram's top 50 influencers alone have 3.1 billion followers, so it should come as no surprise that Instagram wants to start providing services to these high-profile users.

Instagram was initially just a place where people could upload images and share them with each other. However, in a way similar to the trajectory followed by YouTube, Instagram has become a content center. Now there are people working exclusively on creating content for Instagram.

According to some estimates, influencer marketing is expected to be worth more than $10 billion by 2020 . Many advertisers are turning to influencers because they consider Instagram a serious platform for driving sales. Therefore, it is not surprising that it has now created tools geared toward helping influencers reach a wider audience by staying in touch with those who follow them.

According to Holywood Reporter, this new feature called precisely Instagram Creator Accounts, "is designed for traditional talent, digital influencers and artists proliferating on Instagram's platform."

If in fact, currently, unverified influencers can only share data with companies through the engagement of Stories reports captured with the simple screenshot from the cell phone, now the breakthrough could come. In fact, it seems that this new system, allows users, to share statistics with brands and on the side of brands, allows them to know what their target audience is like and what they like.

In detail then, the most important features that Instagram Creator Accounts would enable are:

Follower statistics: will make it easy to analyze how people interact with your account. Specifically who started following you and who just unfollowed.

Direct messaging tools with filtering: this new feature will allow receiving messages to be separated into read, unread or flagged. Message requests will also be able to be categorized according to an option. In fact, pending requests will be able to be categorized by relevance or time so that important requests are not missed.

Flexible labels: the Instagram Creator Accounts gives the ability to change the account call-to-action (usually set to call or email). Labels on profiles will indeed be customizable.

Data analysis: last but not least (and perhaps one of the most important things) is the ability for Instagram Creator Accounts to create detailed integrated 'analytics. This allows you to understand which stories or posts performed better and which ones performed less so you can optimize your content. The final reports, can be downloaded on a daily or weekly basis.

Ashley Yuki, Instagram product manager, added that this new feature is just the first step in the company's broader goal of strengthening its confidence in the market plan.

Just last month, Instagram began a platform-wide cleanup in order to remove unauthorized likes, follows, and comments provided by third-party apps. Instagram says such apps violate its community rules and make all accounts less secure. The platform, using machine learning tools, is identifying and removing inauthentic engagement activities.

Returning to our Instagram Creator Accounts, it is currently in the testing phase with a limited number of users and can probably be expected to launch in 2019. One thing is certain.

More and more social media, and in this case Instagram, will allow you to track your data and numbers in a secure and detailed way, and more and more fake influencers will be cornered.
