During Milan Design Week will take place DIDAYSTalks - Design Week Edition, the initiative realized by Digital Innovation Days with the contribution of Regione Lombardia and within Isola Design Festival, scheduled from April 18 to 23, 2023, a series of traveling talks in the district that will delve into the themes of sustainability and innovation related to design, supported by BRITA Italia and some of the most prestigious content partners of Digital Innovation Days.
Digital Innovation Days, a landmark event for digital innovation, then opens the door to the world of Design with a series of conversations in which the most current challenges toward more sustainable approaches across sectors will be told.
Vertical insights on infrastructure, smart mobility, circular economy, climate change and many other topical issues will take place during these days open to the public, who will have the opportunity to witness virtuous confrontations between personalities and companies that are committed on a daily basis to innovating and generating positive impact in the area.
The ingredients that distinguish the Talks are the sharing of thoughts on future perspectives regarding topical areas, interspersed with moments of relationship. They will see the participation of different speakers who will discuss topics such as sustainability and innovation with a focus on design; in fact, they will explore how design impacts the economy, communication, infrastructure and food with a sustainable approach, thanks to the presence of major companies such as BRITA Italia, creators of the caliber of Michela Coppa, Lorenzo Biagiarelli and Gnambox, , startups from the Italian scene such as Ricehouse and Muvgame, designers including Caracol AM and Keep Life and many others.
There will be no shortage of workshops, edutainment moments and even a hackathon involving students on Design and Education through Model Canvas, in collaboration with Dot Academy and Bevalory at Spazio 78. The agency Notomia, on the other hand, will open the doors of its studio to give users an immersive experience that combines music design and new technologies with an innovative installation that will take place in the inner courtyard of the Milanese company.
Among the last not-to-be-missed events, and not by importance but only by chronological order, April 22 will be an opportunity to celebrate Earth Day together, raising awareness among the audience present in the city for Design Week, thanks also to the contribution from remotely Pierluigi Sassi, president of Earth Day Italia-an unmissable opportunity to remember that to do business innovatively, it is necessary more than ever to take concrete measures of sustainability.
