A resounding success for the first edition of University Festival 2023 by University Network, which debuted May 13 at Talent Garden Calabiana in Milan.

It was the largest university event ever held in Italy, bringing together more than 1 million students from over 35 universities in the country.
The festival was conceived as aninnovative opportunity to connect students with the world of work and beyond, addressing many topics such as education, technology and sustainability, with a focus on sociability.
The day, which took place on two large stages, was dedicated to different themes such as education, technology, sustainability and the aspect of sociality. During the festival, students had the opportunity to participate in speeches, workshops and interactive meetings led by distinguished guests from different professional areas, including entrepreneurship, journalism, education, sustainability, technology, finance, sports, fashion and social media.

More than 50 national and international guests inspired students with their experiences and provided them with job opportunities. In addition, students were able to network, try out innovative technologies such as visors, robots and simulators, and participate in various activities organized in dedicated spaces and booths.
The Main Stage hosted talks on topics such as pursuing dreams in the world of sports, fashion and music, creating successful start-ups and building online communities. Topics on future professions, college masters, financial investments and strategies for attracting the attention of recruiters with an effective resume were also covered. Practical tips on how to prepare for job interviews in English and how to cope with life in the city of Milan were also provided during the day.

The event was hosted by Antonella Arpa, also known as Himorta, and Chiara Piotto of Sky TG24.
