The atmosphere at the Talent Garden on Oct. 26 and 27 is that of major events, where more than 2,000 participants, 170 speakers, 100 sponsors, partners and media gathered, online and onsite, to discuss the future of digital innovation.

Over 400 people at the opening of the proceedings on the main stage with organizers Giulio and Nicola Nicoletti who, not without some emotion, welcomed this event sponsored by the City of Milan.

The turnout in the Digital Rooms was very high, proving that topics such as Web Marketing, Influencer Marketing, E-commerce and Social Media are not just passing trends but are destined to stay, evolve and forever change the way B2B is done.

14 workshops on specific, concrete topics proved to be extremely effective from a training point of view, as well as fostering interaction between participants and lecturers.

On Oct. 28, everyone logged on to the live.digitalinnovationdays.com platform for the full-digital day, a signal that sustainability, technological innovation, in-formation, and fintech are such attractive topics that they endured even on the Friday that preceded a long bridge.

The ninth edition of Digital Innovation Days exceeded expectations in terms of audience and interest, confirming the renewed desire of companies, professionals, institutions and media to meet.

Some of the main themes of this new edition, inaugurated by an opening dinner on October 25 with 160 guests among the event's stakeholders, were metaverse, NFT and gaming, now considered resources in terms of culture and education, as well as creators of new business opportunities. So on the one hand the most extreme technological innovation but still immersed in our social, economic and work reality, on the other hand issues such as the gender gap, inclusion, human well-being and sustainability. Two souls of the event with people at the center, testifying to the fact that designing technology is human expertise, just as the theme of the 2022 edition - Human for Future- mentions.

To concretize the theme of innovation even within the event itself, each participant, speaker and stakeholder received a unique certificate of participation verified through blockchain technology, thanks to the partnership with LutinX.

MAIN HALL

The opening session in the Main Hall saw organizers Giulio and Nicola Nicoletti on stage, immediately followed by Albi Hoxa, Head of Public Affairs of Digital Innovation Days, who introduced the speeches of the institutions: Layla Pavone, Head of Innovation Technology & Digital Transformation Board of the City of Milan, emphasized the importance of creating new opportunities for dialogue and business by intercepting excellence; Stefano Bolognini, Councillor for the Metropolitan City, Youth and Communication of the Lombardy Region, highlighted the need to involve young people to facilitate the meeting between talent and companies.

"Young people as a resource and strategic asset for work," to aspire for sustainable growth, is also the claim of the first edition of the #DIDAYSNEXTGEN contest, designed by BeValory for high school and college students, which awarded two interesting innovation projects on stage at the event.

"We work with words," the format devised by Buzztech - among the event's Silver Sponsors - at the opening each day, through pills, fun facts and case histories, presented the context delved into later by the many speakers on stage.

"Innovation is the only vector of economic and social growth," GianMario Verona, former rector of Bocconi University since 2016, said in his speech; Ernesto Sirolli told that "innovation is done in the periphery," away from managers anchored firmly in their chairs; Vittorio Martinelli, CEO of Olympus Italia, spoke of attainable goals, better grandiose failures rather than mediocre successes! There were many faces of great communicative and content depth who on the stage (also digital) of the event were able to range from the most extreme and visionary technology, to the simplicity of human well-being.

Convinced that one cannot talk about innovation without going through inclusion and respect for diversity, the Organizers wanted panels moderated by Valentina Parenti, President of GammaDonna, and Simone Martina, Chief People Officer of Cerved, which featured Francesca Vecchioni, President & Founder of the Diversity Foundation, and Cathy La Torre, a lawyer and activist, taking turns on stage.

Also innovative were the new languages of young people recounted by Mattia Stanga, creator, and speakers in the panel dedicated to gamification as a resource, organized by Alessio Crisantemi, President and Co-founder of Gn Media Editore. Of great innovation were the concrete experiences of Andrea Febbraio, the exit maker of Italian digital, and of the main actors supporting the development of the Italian system, as in the panel moderated by Giorgio Ciron, Director of InnovUp.

The theme of innovation was then declined in many forms through the speeches of Giampaolo Grossi, Director and General Manager of Starbucks Italia, Fabio Padoan, Co-Founder and Chief Strategy & Creative Officer of Together, Gold Sponsor of this edition, Esther Intile, Head of Employer Branding Global at Enel, and Andrew Winston, the international guest of this edition, author of the book Net Positive. No less relevant from an innovative point of view, the special insight dedicated to metaverse and nft, thanks to panels constructed and moderated by Marco Giacalone, Founder&CEO of GiacaLabs.

It was two intense live days, coordinated by the expert leadership of Filippo Poletti, LinkedIn Italy Top Voice and professional journalist, Stefano Saladino, CEO of Mashub, and Matteo Flora, president of the newly formed 40Degrees.

DIGITAL ROOM & WORKSHOP

New to this edition was the Digital Room with its four verticals for the first time live in presence. For the great success of the topics, special thanks are due to the moderators involved in organizing the event: Paolo Giacalone, South West & EU E-commerce Director of Reckitt, for the room dedicated toe-commerce, sponsored by Kiliagon; Matteo Pogliani, Founder of ONIM, for the topics related toinfluencer marketing in the room sponsored by 40Degrees; Riccardo Pirrone, President of the National Association of Social Media Managers and of KirWeb, in the room with a focus on social media sponsored by Cosmic; Gaetano Romeo, CMO of Innovation People, for the room dedicated to web marketing organized together with Aryel and sponsored by SALESmanago.

Deeply believing in the need to educate as well as inspire, 14 workshops organized by partners and sponsors simultaneously on two halls engaged event participants, recounting case studies in an experiential way. Realizing that the Digital Innovation Days experience does not end with the event, all topics presented remain available throughout the year on the official event platform: live.digitalinnovationdays.com

SALE ONLINE

As a testament to the phygital spirit of Digital Innovation Days, Friday, Oct. 28, was the day dedicated to four more vertical rooms exclusively online.

Digital Innovation Days platform

Francesco Lamacchia, CEO of Dot Academy-organizer of the hall, led the proceedings in the In-Formation room to talk about entrepreneurship, leadership, careers, but also how to build a dialogue with Generation Z.

In the Sustainability room, supported by OVHcloud, Francesca Petrella, communications manager at Ipsos, moderated talks on how to combat food waste, how to define a successful sustainability strategy while avoiding greenwashing, and, in line with the themes of the event, how to manage incubation programs for start-ups with environmental, social and cultural vocations.

In the Innovation&Emerging Tech room, sponsored by Bebit, under the conduction of Fernando Piccirilli, Co-Founder of Kobe Venture Partners, we discussed open innovation, how technology is changing the healthcare world, and again startups, in their connection with the corporate world.

Moderated by Alessandro Negri Della Torre, the Fintech room explored the different declinations of so-called "complementary" finance, without neglecting the interesting topic of cryptocurrencies. It was Qonto 's task in this room to cover the evolution of data and its interpretation in the financial and non-financial spheres.

At the end of the 2022 edition of Digital Innovation Days, the richest so far, organizers Giulio Nicoletti and Nicola Nicoletti, evidently happy and satisfied with the result, wanted to emphasize that "all this was able to happen thanks to the work of all the staff of 24Pr&Events, moderators, partners and speakers, with thanks to the sponsors who believed in us and in the goals of the kermesse, and whom we once again want to mention: Together, Mondadori Media, Buzztech, Cerved, Accessiway, Ipsos, Hoepli, Chora Media, Trustpilot, Filoblu, Labelium, Cosmic, Kiliagon, Sales Manago, 40degrees, Bebit, Ovh Cloud, Aryel, Qonto.

But the event does not end there, because the platform https://live.digitalinnovationdays.com/ will continue to live on with insights, new content and networking opportunities, which then is the spirit of this event, until we meet again at the next edition."
